This is a report of how long term unemployed adult and young people under 25 can take “NVQs” short qualifications since Slovenia now has a certification system and developed vocational standards. For adults it is a means of shortening the time it would normally take to do a formal training programme, and to increase their employability and mobility, while on a national level it is said to be a means to reduce unemployment, and support the HR function within companies.
